ALEX AND ANI is an eco-conscious jewelry and accessories brand whose vision is to empower the spirit and connect humanity. Its philanthropic division, Charity by Design, has contributed more than $40 million to numerous charities, positively impacting individuals and communities worldwide. ALEX AND ANI has been a Full Picture client since 2016.
In the fall of 2016, Full Picture helped ALEX AND ANI launch their Liberty Copper Collection, featuring original monument copper preserved from the 1984 centennial restoration of the Statue of Liberty. With our unique expertise around navigating the intersection of fashion and social impact, we designed a strategy to drive both emotion and commerce. We were involved in all aspects of the launch and secured major media placements, including founder Carolyn Rafaelian’s first-ever national nightly news interview. ALEX AND ANI credits this segment with driving their single highest day of sales for this collection, and our multi-faceted approach helped make the Liberty Copper Collection one of ALEX AND ANI’s biggest successes.
What began as a public relations engagement for Full Picture has expanded to become a more comprehensive partnership where we provide strategic counsel, event design and management, and influencer outreach.
We also identify opportunities to position ALEX AND ANI as a leader in global charitable efforts through high-profile partnerships with like-minded initiatives. Two notable examples include this year’s Rock4EB’s annual benefit with a special performance by Sting and, most recently, an event with the David Lynch Foundation wher Carolyn was honored for her humanitarian work, alongside Giselle Bündchen, Robin Roberts, and Joni Kimberlin.
In only our first six months of media placements, we garnered close to half a billion total impressions.
