Overview

The Director of Consulting serves as the day-to-day lead and key client contact on specified consulting clients brought into Full Picture either directly through the CEO or as a result of her network. These clients are highly valued and the high standard of the quality of thoughts, ideas and partnership – as well as the necessary confidentiality – must be maintained at all times.

This position reports directly to the VP of Consulting and provides comprehensive support to develop ideas and drive them through to execution. At times, there will be collaboration with other members of the Consulting division as well as involvement in new business efforts.

The ideal candidate is a mature professional with a good sense of diplomacy and polish as well skilled at strategy with an ability to generate and develop creative ideas. The candidate will have solid project management skills with the ability to see things through from strategy to execution and ensure both big picture and small details are managed with care. The candidate will operate with a sense of urgency and a desire to over-deliver on client expectations.

Requirements & Experience

  • 5-7 years in consulting, advertising/media account management, marketing, or brand management

  • Natural affinity for client service

  • Experience working with a variety of client types and personalities

  • Project and account management

  • Presentation to clients in both formal and informal settings

Responsibilities

  • Lead accounts with guidance and direction from VP of Consulting
  • Serve as day-to-day internal lead and external contact for accounts
  • Develop and nurture strong, trusted relationships with all clients
  • Ensures up to date knowledge of client goals, strategies and priorities
  • Oversees workflow, deadlines, and resources for clients
  • Ensures each client’s Scope of Work is being fulfilled
  • Organizes and leads brainstorm/ideation sessions with internal team members
  • Ideates, develops, and executes client work
  • Manages internal and/or external team members as per each client and initiative’s unique requirements
  • Keeps VP apprised of account status including big ideas, issues and opportunities
  • Ensure CEO/VP is prepared for any client meetings or presentations
  • Be alert to opportunities for additional assignments from current clients, and look for ways for Full Picture to become more essential to their roster of external partners
  • Assist in development of proposals for potential new business opportunities to expand client roster

Points of Accountability

  • Lead and foster stronger connectivity, collaboration and integration across divisions
  • Assist in development ofstronger and more current collateral/tools (decks, case studies, grids, etc.)
  • Attend bi-weekly new business meeting to facilitate information-sharing and strategic planning
  • with respect to new client targets
  • Manage day-to-day on specifically designated consulting accounts
